I signed my mother up for service but we never heard anything back. There doesn’t seem to be a customer service number, or contact of any kind for us to attempt to work it out. So far, we signed up but received no service at all.

I was assigned as the Personal Rep. after the death of a dear friend. Closing out all her accounts was easy as all they needed was proof I was the PR and some wanted a copy of the Death certificate. I was assigned as the Personal Rep. after the death of a dear friend. Closing out all her accounts was easy as all they needed was proof I was the PR and some wanted a copy of the Death certificate. Not Centurylink. Their rep asked for the deceased personal passwords. When I asked her to explain the point of that she then said all they could do was send a code to the now disconnected and password locked computer? I turned it all over to my attorney who had warned me that centurylink would probably play these games. What did they think they were going to achieve except to kick someone while they were down.

One TV still doesn’t work. I’ve no idea what I’m paying for.

The technicians have to come out more frequently, about every 4to6 weeks, and this means many calls and hours with the robot, then the offshore assistants that read scripts and don’t listen. It’s embarrassing to have this service but we really have not a lot of options where we live. So, I keep on calling in sick to work because I have to wait…

First Centurylink gave option of paper bills or email / internet. Then they forced a fee to force customers to use only the internet for billing. Now they are blackmailing their customers to force them to use autopay by not accepting payment that their own system does accept and gives a confirmation number to the customer. The customer is not aware of this till a postal letter comes which states the bill is late and a late fee will be charged. Further when conversing with their customer service, the customer is told the late fee will be waived if they sign up for autopay. They also use a fictional lie stating the bank that was to send the payment called it back which per my bank never happened. They actually never sent the request for funds from the bank and stopped it within their computer services. I have been happy with the internet plan, price, and reliability. Yet BEWARE OF THE CORRUPT PRACTICES THIS COMPANY IS MOVING INTO.

My service was just cut off without warning around 4pm. I called multiple times and each time was disconnected before I could talk to anyone. I went online to sign in and need to change my password and it brought me to a page that didn’t have a place to enter any information. I’ve had trouble with them since I started service.

Terrible service all around in addition to regular price increases that are now ridiculous considering service is done by people who don’t care about quality service

My service with CenturyLink is terrible. I work out of my home and the Internet Service goes down frequently, especially on weekends! The Phone Service was also going down quite often, but that seems to have gotten a little better over the last month or so. I’ve had to made frequent calls for months; it seemed like every other week I was trying to get my Service back up and running. It’s gone out so much and unexpectedly that important emails got dropped and never completed transaction or costing me business. I also haven’t been compensated for most of the lost service time I’ve lost and yet still I’m paying for, and it’s their “fastest” internet speed. The Internet Service has gotten so bad that I’ve had to get another Internet Service, Hughesnet, to use as a backup service and to share with my devices for internet. It’s not much better, but it seems that both services are out or I have to keep switching back and forth between the two. It’s costly, I’m stuck with a Hughesnet contract on top of CenturyLink because the service is so bad. The Customer Service PEOPLE are always very pleasant once you can finally get in touch with one of them after trying to navigate through all of the automated crap; they do appear to try to resolve the problems.
