I like Brightspeed, I just feel that they are very expensive. I think they all are these days. I only have one laptop and one TV. I would have liked a better explanation when I called to sign up for their service on the charges, etc. I couldn’t understand the woman I was speaking with very well. With that being said, the tech they sent to my home after my move was terrific. Kind and so helpful! I would keep the service just because he was so amazing.

Very unhappy with the internet not staying connected, and difficulty that I don’t need!

Brightspeed internet keeps going in and out and the download is slow and uploading is real slow. I have to keep rebooting the router at least once a month.

The service itself was good. But their customer service is awful. They owe me a refund and the check was processed on July 23. It is now October 5 and I still have not received it. I just called them and after a brief discussion, they disconnected the call.

Transfer to Brightspeed not requested. Endless billing problems, erratic connections and speeds, and long delays for service when the wifi dies, makes for very poor service.

Since BrightSpeed took over CenturyLink I have had the worst experience with them. Please don’t go with them. Plus customer service is the worse everyone of them tells you something different…

We still have copper phone lines and all they talk about is getting a higher speed you’re going to get so much when you have copper phone lines they keep telling us now for the last 5 years they were going to replace them but that has not happened yet

Download speeds slower than upload speeds. When Brightspeed took over from CenturyLink went from a 10 MB plan to a 2 MB plan for the same price. Now 2 MB plan changed to a 1.5 MB plan (with no notice) for the same price. Currently getting 0.6 MB for my 1.5 MB plan. Sucks. Our Brightspeed plan indicates the speeds are supposed to be 1.5 & 0.5 but are rarely even that, which is not sufficient to do much of anything.

I have had my service for around 2 months and stopped working on the 6th of this month and was told that they couldn’t get anyone too repair until the 24th of the month. I’m very disappointed as being a disabled vet I looked forward to it.

Brightspeed is the worst!!! Constantly cutting out. If you have other options I strongly suggest trying them. Nothing could be worse than Brightspeed

Very poor repair service in Michigan. Only two techs for entire thumb. More than 30 days without phone repair, 5 days for internet repair. 1-2 weeks to “schedule” repair tech. Not tech fault, company’s fault.
