Brightspeed was double charging us for our internet service!!! We had to pay for fiber internet with a credit card, but they never adjusted our original phone bill to show it was being paid separately! Never could get anyone to follow up on this issue with me!!! I was so desperate that I offered people $100 to help me resolve it!!!! Tried for at least 3 years to resolve the problem, so gave up & went with Spectrum!! Has been a dream! Can’t believe I let them use us & mistreat us for so long!!! And WE ARE A BUSINESS!!!

I have done everything in my power to get help, someone who might know what they are doing are know how to fix what it wrong. I reboot 2 to 3 times a day. Equipment has been switched out no different. Unable to work from home because I cannot really on Brightspeed internet to work throughout the day. I need 1 gig or higher…
I have done everything in my power to get help, someone who might know what they are doing are know how to fix what it wrong. I reboot 2 to 3 times a day. Equipment has been switched out no different. Unable to work from home because I cannot really on Brightspeed internet to work throughout the day. I need 1 gig or higher and they are the only ones in the area so far. Eventually we might get a more well liked and desirable fiber internet in the area. Don’t be fooled by brightspeed they have no clue what they are doing.

Have had the service for 2 days and so far it has been a complete nightmare. I can’t access my account to see my bill or service, the service has completely stopped working after having it for 2 days, and now they’re changing their tech appointments without any input from me. Have had the service for 2 days and so far it has been a complete nightmare. I can’t access my account to see my bill or service, the service has completely stopped working after having it for 2 days, and now they’re changing their tech appointments without any input from me. Ready to have them come pick up their box because apparently they do not care about their customers. Never had any issues with Xfinity and in the space of 2 days brightspeed took me from eager customer to ready to be done with them. Unreliable, untrustworthy, stay away from this company.

I’ve been a Brightspeed customer for years with no issues until now. Brightspeed has missed two fiber installation appointments, including one on 14 January 2026 (0800–1000). No technician showed up either time, and no one contacted me with updates or explanations. I took time off work for both appointments and lost income as a result. They did provide a $20 good‑faith credit on my January bill, which I appreciate, but it doesn’t come close to addressing the impact of two missed appointments. I’m still waiting for the installation to be completed and for Brightspeed to take responsibility for the repeated failures. Do better, Brightspeed!

We waited 2 months for a technician to repair our lines the last outage, only to have them fail again within 7 weeks. We currently have a 23 day wait for them to fix it again this round. We waited 2 months for a technician to repair our lines the last outage, only to have them fail again within 7 weeks. We currently have a 23 day wait for them to fix it again this round. NOTE: File a claim with BBB immediately. Each time we’ve had an outage, I work with the company with no traction (or for an outrageous wait time – 4 weeks last time) the DAY they receive the BBB complaint, they schedule a technician. Technicians have told me that they no longer perform any maintenance on their old lines.. and we are not yet in their area for Fiber lines. Our issue will continue to happen until we are upgraded. However, if even with the new lines – with a repair wait time of 4 weeks, I’d hardly call that service.

Terrible customer service, awful automated costumer service number, lack of communication and charges with no explanation. Brightspeed will give you anxiety and panic attacks. They will overcharge you and tell you they will adjust your bill and instead turn you over to collections. Absolutely worst phone company ever.

Bad connection and speed and their “customer service” is a clown show if there is an issue with log on etc. I have had multiple issues with them not resolving issues after many emails and calls over MONTHS

Each time I call, I’m told something different. I was told 5 to 7 days, then 30 to 45 days, then 55 to 60 days, Then I was told it would be mailed out within 24 hours. I just called them and after a brief discussion, they disconnected the call.
