What is Xfinity Membership?

Xfinity Membership is a customer loyalty program that replaced the former benefits plan, Xfinity Rewards. The Xfinity Membership program has four tiers: Silver, Gold, Diamond and Platinum. Your level is based on how long you’ve been a customer OR how many Xfinity services you have. The more tenure or services your household subscribes to, the more perks you qualify for.

Who gets an Xfinity Membership?

Xfinity Membership benefits are included with any postpaid Xfinity account; no additional sign-up or cost is required.

  • Benefits began on January 21, 2026, for all existing customers
  • Benefits start on day one of service for all new customers
  • Xfinity Membership applies only to postpaid accounts — prepaid internet or other pay-by-the-month accounts are not eligible (e.g., NOW Mobile, NOW Internet)

Is Xfinity Membership worth it?

Yes, Xfinity Membership is worth it, especially since all existing and new Xfinity customers automatically get free access to Xfinity Membership perks. While you probably wouldn’t sign up for Xfinity solely for these membership benefits, they’re worth keeping in mind if you already have Xfinity or are considering a new Xfinity bundle, because it can help you get more value out of your monthly service.

If you are shopping for a new internet service, plan benefits like the ones Xfinity Membership offers can be important to compare, especially if having a good customer experience is a high priority for you. Xfinity Membership is similar to other carrier loyalty programs, like T-Mobile‘s perks, where subscribers receive discounts and exclusive offers as part of their service. In short, Xfinity Membership is a great way to increase the overall value of your Xfinity internet, TV or phone plan.

How Xfinity Membership works

The Xfinity Membership’s four tiers offer compounding benefits, meaning the more services you have (e.g., internet, TV, Mobile, etc.) OR the longer you’ve been an Xfinity customer, the more perks you get to enjoy. Xfinity also recognizes Military members with an automatic Diamond tier upgrade from day one.

Note: You don’t need to meet BOTH eligibility requirements (customer length and number of services ), just one or the other. The higher qualifier will determine your Membership level.

Xfinity Membership tiers: Eligibility and benefits

These Xfinity benefits come with every level of membership:

  • Unlimited mobile line for one year with new internet (new Mobile members only)
  • Universal Parks ticket discounts
  • $1 movies
  • Wi-Fi hotspot access
  • Security with WiFi Motion (with Xfinity Gateway): Tracks movements through Wi-Fi — no security cameras needed
  • Xfinity Stream app

Some Xfinity Membership benefits are tier-specific:

  • Silver: Everything in the inclusive benefits above
  • Gold: Everything from the previous tier, plus 50% off mobile accessories, smartwatch discounts (Xfinity Mobile members only) and gaming betas (first access)
  • Diamond: Everything from the previous tier, plus Peacock Premium included and first access to new product experiences
  • Platinum: Everything from the previous tier, plus Peacock Premium included, Universal Parks experiences, VIP movie screenings and an Annual Diamond gift

Who is not eligible for Xfinity Membership?

While Xfinity membership is fairly all-inclusive, there are a few exceptions. If your Xfinity account has only one of the following services, Membership perks won’t apply to your account. However, if you add a qualifying plan to any of the following services, then Membership benefits will begin.

Non-eligible services:

  • Prepaid services: NOW Internet, NOW Mobile, Prepaid Internet plans
  • A la carte streaming services: StreamSaver, a la carte add-ons like Peacock or Disney+
  • Comcast Business services: Business services, including Comcast Business Mobile (CBM)

How to access Xfinity Membership benefits

Existing customers can access benefits immediately; new customers can start using benefits on day one of service. Start using your Xfinity Member benefits in the Xfinity app or by logging in to your account online.

Xfinity Membership perks, discounts and exclusives

Xfinity Membership benefits fall into three categories: Weekly perks, discounts and exclusive experiences.

Select the tab to learn more about each aspect of Xfinity Membership (specific benefits depend on Membership tier):

Rotating weekly treats every Thursday (giveaways, exclusive merch)

How to get the most out of your Xfinity Membership

The best way to get the most value out of your member benefits is to remember to use it. Check in the app every Thursday when new weekly perks roll out, and keep member discounts in mind when you’re shopping for new tech or entertainment. Try setting a reminder on your cell phone to check your account regularly so you’ll never miss a thing.
